Christmas Eve

Traditional "appetizer eve" was delicious and warm by the fire. We enjoyed all the favorites -- hot apple cider, spinach dip and veggies, shrimp cocktail, antipasto platter, cheese and crackers and all the buttery cookies. Linda made some delicious new ones this year. The kids put out cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer and then settled in with those vision of sugarplums dancing in their heads.
